Position Purpose:	A risk management intern with the ability to create fundamental outlooks in the area of grains, dairy and/or energy. Projects may include: 1. Creation of Value at Risk and Budget at Risk models (VaR and BaR). Using models to provide insights into risk management decisions within the Divisions. 2. Analyzing the commodity portfolio, to determine the Dollars at Risk for net positions. Creating tools to evaluate the risk/reward of commodity opportunities across divisions. 3. Creating communications (presentations, etc) that help explain complex risk management concepts in business language. 4. Fundamental and Technical analysis of commodities 5. Creation of performance based reporting to capture our performance in the commodity procurement and hedging areas.
Required (Basic) Experience & Education	A 4-year degree with prior intern experience in ag economics or finance.
Required Competencies & Other Skills	The ability to analyze data and make recommendations. Able to explain recommendations in technical and business terms. Should have experience presenting to cross functional teams.
Preferred Competencies & Other Skills	Microsoft programs with significant Excel skills. Desire to learn and contribute highly valued. Desire to be part of a team.
