This position provides Wealth Management services to Anchor Bank clients and is responsible for directing the Institutional Trust department’s team with the objective to achieve goals, maximize growth and profitability in a manner consistent with the values and interests of Anchor Bancorp. It has responsibility for the management and operational control of the department with the approval and guidance of Anchor Trust President, manages an Institutional Trust team as well as works directly with Institutional Trust clients to create, enhance and expand their relationship with Anchor by sourcing business directly, partnering with sales professionals and by developing center of influence relationships. It also performs compliance and control functions for employee benefit accounts, including design and development from inception to termination in accordance with the terms specified in the plan document, Anchor Trust policies and procedures, and Federal and State trust and tax laws.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, and ten plus years of related Institutional trust/employee benefits experience. This experience should include management of employees and a proven record of success in business development. Candidates must have a complete and in-depth knowledge of the Federal and State laws relating to employee benefits, account principles, taxation and investments. In addition, candidate must have the ability to profitably manage a business on a long-term basis, possess strong relationship management / sales skills and have superior human relation skills. Ability to work effectively under deadlines and pressure also required.
