Position Description
Our client provides electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and offers comprehensive and integrated design services, from initial product design to volume production and direct order fulfillment. They have a current needed for additional expertise on their team, and are looking for an experienced PCB/CAD designer needed for a direct hire opportunity in a NE Minneapolis Suburb.
Responsibilities will include
•PCB/CAD design, development and documentation of complex printed circuit board fabrication and assembly
•Design of electronic hardware for customers products meeting client product specifications and company’s manufacturing requirements
•Evaluate designs to quality standards
Requirements include
•5+ years experience designing high speed digital and analog printed circuit boards for diverse applications
•BSEE or 2 year technical degree with additional 12+ years experience
•Expert knowledge of PCB assembly process and fab techniques
•Experienced with Cadence and Mentor Graphics design tools.
•Expert level experience with Cadence Allegro and/or Mentor Graphics Expedition or PADs
•Expertise in constraint entry and constraint management.
•Familiar with Hyperlynx, HSPICE and other high speed simulation tools preferred.
•Familiar with DxDesigner, Cadence Concept and Orcad Capture.
•Mentor design tool experience a plus
