Position Description
CONTROLLER
Custom Magnetics Manufacturing Company
HiRel Systems LLC, a leader in manufacturing for custom transformers, inductors and power supplies for military, avionics and medical applications, is seeking a Controller for its corporate facility in Minnetonka, MN.
Job Responsibilities:
As Controller, you will be managing and coordinating all financial activities of multiple US and foreign facilities. Responsibilities include:
• Recommend and implement corporate financial strategies, procedures and controls.
• Staff, supervise, and develop general accounting, fixed asset, treasury, accounts payable and accounts receivable personnel/functions.
• Organize, manage and control the monthly financial close process including worldwide consolidation and intercompany eliminations.
• Analyze, present and explain monthly financial results to operations managers and company management.
• Work with all department managers to communicate and improve understanding of their financial impacts on the company.
• Prepare all financial schedules and reporting for the annual Strategic Planning and Budgeting process.
• Prepare complete financial forecasts as necessary.
• Manage and coordinate worldwide requirements of the annual financial audit and tax return preparation.
• Support supplemental financial activities such as revenue analysis, insurance coverage review, investor and creditor information requirements, intercompany reconciliations, inventory analysis, fringe benefit reviews and cost analysis, regular reviews of all balance sheet items, etc.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• MBA or CPA preferred
• 5+ years experience as a Controller in a manufacturing environment
• Cost Accounting and International Consolidation experience
• Excellent computer and problem solving abilities
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
