	Responsibilities
	PRIMARY FUNCTION: Adhering to bank policies and guidelines, the incumbent will provide overall direction and risk decisions for the mortgage bankers within the district in addition to recruiting and developing new talent. The incumbent is additionally responsible for maintaining an independent mortgage production sales and real estate calling program. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. 4-5 years professional management/mortgage lending experience.
	Other Information
	As a Mortgage Banking District Manager for M&I you will originate a minimum of $12 million in mortgage loan annually while managing and coaching 8-10 Mortgage Bankers. You will coach the Mortgage Bankers in the development of business relationships with real estate brokers and agents, builders, developers and individual clients to assist them with achievement of their goals. Position Requirements: Mortgage origination experience for a minimum of four years with past origination production over $15 million. Management experience beneficial but not required. Must demonstrate the ability to lead through past coaching success. Proven background in establishing relationships with real estate agents, builders, and/or developers that has resulted in strong referral business. Strong sales background with a proven ability to develop relationships to increase sales production through networking. Excellent presentation, organization and communication skills.
