Hennepin is currently seeking one Roster Radiology Tech to staff the Cardiac Cath Lab. Previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab is required; previous experience with Electrophysiology studies is preferred. Work schedule to be based on procedure volume; some availability for weekday hours is required. Must be available to participate in off-shift call once per week and one weekend per month. Responsibilities |
|
-- Assist with electrophysiology studies, including knowledge of the EP monitoring and equipment -- Assist with coronary artery studies including scrub and fluoroscopy -- Set up procedure room for emergency coronary artery cases -- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology of coronary system -- Explain procedure to patient and family members. . |

Qualifications |
|
Required: -- Successful completion of a formal educational Radiologic Technology program accredited by mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). -- Currently certified by the ARRT as a Registered Radiology Technologist. Must maintain minimum CEU credits as mandated by the ARRT. -- Certified in Basic Life Support (or obtain within two months of hire). -- At least two years experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab -- Some availability for weekday hours is required; must be available to participate in off-shift call once per week and one weekend per month.
Preferred: --Previous experience with Electrophysiology studies. . |
