Minco is seeking an Executive Assistant to support our President and the senior management team. This is a full time, first shift position at our Fridley, MN location. This position is responsible for providing executive support reporting directly to the President. The Executive Assistant will serve as a liaison with other departments, determine day-to-day operational decisions, interpret and apply policies and procedures, maintain department and management schedules, develop meetings, agendas, and presentations for the management team. Other duties include making travel arrangements, developing and tracking department budget information, creating and analyzing budget figures, editing and preparing newsletters, brochures, and complex reports, researching complex information including financial and operational questions, and providing related support. The Executive Assistant may also lead other staff including assigning and monitoring work and providing direction.
The successful candidate will possess:
• High School degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Seven years of progressive administrative support experience, including three years of experience supporting executive management.
• Microsoft office applications experience (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
• Experience developing and analyzing data for broad operational and financial reports.
• Experience prioritizing and assigning work.
• Strong experience determining actions on day-to-day operations.
• Organization of work and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal and external customer contract.
• Experience coordinating multiple programs and projects.
Preferred skills of the successful candidate:
• Associate degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Legal or Human Resources background.
