Location:  Cold Spring, MN                          
Department:  Maintenance                        
Supervisor:  Bryan Horn
Status:  This is a full-time hourly position
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 6 AM – 3 PM; Friday: 6 AM-Noon; Overtime as needed

JOB SUMMARY: As the Machinic II or III, you will be responsible for machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.  You will perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of the production equipment.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • Providing emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment
  • Reading and understanding blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to assist with troubleshooting, parts identification, and assembly
  • Fabricating, installing, and moving various machinery as needed
  • Performing emergency and scheduled plumbing duties
  • Rebuilding pumps, gearboxes, and other mechanical assemblies
  • Performing preventative maintenance and lubrication on machinery
  • Operating tools such as grinders, welders, torches, measuring tools, etc.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
  • Communicates clearly and works well with others
  • Has a mechanical background
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
  • Can work independently with limited supervision            
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Manual dexterity
  • Constant or intermittent noise and vibration 
  • Works with minimal protection from inclement weather 
  • Works in a ventilated area but is exposed to some fumes and odors 
  • Works in confined spaces 
  • Works on raised platforms
  • Lifts 75 lbs.
  • Bending, kneeling, and squatting regularly
