Job Description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Enters all non-medical incidents into corporate and insurance database and verifies the accuracy of information before filing any claims.
  • Reviews incident investigations and preventative measures to ensure the highest hierarchy of controls are achieved.
  • Proactively communicates safety concerns observed through the review and entering of incident investigations to the Claims Specialist.
  • Supports the claims group with other administrative tasks as needed and may act as a backup for others as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Minimum of a two-year degree; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of progressive experience working within Workers' Compensation. Experience working in an organization that supports multiple states preferred.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

  • Intermediate computer skills (Internet & Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Publisher and Outlook) are a must).
  • Attention to detail and an organized demeanor.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous changing tasks.
