Job Description

Park Nicollet is looking to RN, Triage Float to join our Primary Care team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:

Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing, diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy. Supports Triage nursing functions within Ambulatory Care: Telehealth Triage, provides medical information to patients according to Triage Nurse guidelines, assists with Medication Refills according to protocol, supports anticoagulation management and other duties as identified. The individual must have strong interpersonal skills and flexibility. Maintains patient confidentiality and protects the patient rights. Resolves concerns or complaints while maintaining a positive, personalized and friendly attitude. Addresses patient needs in a timely and appropriate manner.

Work Schedule:

Rotation of M-F days, every other weekend, some holidays

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from course of study in nursing resulting in an associate degree, diploma, or baccalaureate degree in nursing.
  • Must maintain a current Minnesota registered nurse license.
  • Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Telephone triage skills.
