The Pricing Manager leads a team of 6 individuals supporting activities for Chronic Care, Wound / Skin and the Direct business for North America. The team is responsible for strategic pricing, customer contract pricing analysis, customer performance analysis and customer payments. This team works closely with the larger finance team, Sales, Marketing and Commercial Support as well as the corporate pricing team, based in Denmark. Major Areas of Accountability

The team is responsible for the end to end process of pricing and incentives. The Manager ensures the best financial decisions are made for Coloplast in the customer contracting process. The key areas of focus are:

  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and review pricing strategy based on market insights. Collaborate with internal teams regarding pricing strategy.
  • Contract Pricing Implementation: Partner with the sales organization to ensure successful commercial implementation by jointly creating business proposals. Responsible for ongoing governance of the pricing strategy, correct acquisition pricing and incentive analysis.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyses financial implications of customer contracts. Ensure adherence to government pricing obligations. Completes KPI reporting to inform senior management in North America and the corporate pricing team in Denmark.
  • Customer and Sales Team Administration: Ensure payments based on contract data are administered accurately. Ensure all required reporting is completed. Support the product launch process along with the prioritization of activity with our National Accounts sales team and GPO customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or MBA degree in Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent
  • Prior experience managing multiple stakeholders
  • Prior experience with developing pricing strategy and ensuring successful implementation and governance
  • Process improvement capabilities and experience in leading change
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting strategic pricing, customer contract analysis, and customer performance management
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership and management responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the healthcare or medical device industry strongly preferred
  • Experience leading while successfully collaborating with a strong sales organization
