The Important Role of Payment Services Product Owner at SunStream

The Product Owner will be a crucial member of SunStream's growing Product and Service team in support of our Cash Management Tools. The Product Owner is responsible for products from ideation to implementation working in an Agile environment. The Product Owner works closely with SunStream customers to understand their needs, maintains a product roadmap and communicates product value. The Product Owner collaborates closely with the Scrum Master, Solution Architect and Developers to ensure the products meet specific objectives as outlined by customers.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Expert knowledge of payment processing and loan accounting; Cash management knowledge is preferable
  • Expert knowledge in Agile methodology
  • Working knowledge of financial accounting processes and practices
  • Skill in setting strategy for product development
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Skill in utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Skill in gathering, compiling, organizing, and analyzing information
  • Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, management, and customers
  • Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of SunStream and client systems and data

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, or Accounting preferred
  • 8+ years of related loan accounting, banking, cash management, agile experience
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience
  • Experience working with software applications and development teams
  • Business Lead
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
