How your work would contribute to our organization and the Twin Cities region:
The Training Specialist will provide outstanding instructional design and development of content, and in-person training support of Environmental Services workforce development and continuous improvement initiatives.
An Associate's Degree in technical writing, education, human resources development, industrial relations, psychology, social sciences, business, or a related field AND five (5) or more years of experience designing and developing training content and job aids.

What your work environment would be:
Work is regularly performed in a normal office environment but may occasionally be performed in the field. Position is occasionally required to travel locally by car. There is occasional exposure to wet, humid conditions, moving parts or equipment, fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. Position may occasionally work in high, precarious places. Position is exposed to moderate noise. Position may set up training equipment which involves lifting, bending and twisting. Position may enter confined spaces on occasion.
