You will assist patients and support providers and the nursing staff in the delivery of outstanding, outpatient care while also:
  • Working at a beautiful, brand new outpatient clinic, one of two clinics in Northern Lakeville, built to serve patients with primary care, eye care and some mental health needs.

We have opportunities for part-time and full-time Medical Assistants. Hours are scheduled days, Monday - Friday. No weekend, night or holiday hours are required. Benefits are available for FT and PT employees, and vary based on the number of hours worked. Your Qualifications We're looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills & the drive to help others. To qualify for the role of Medical Assistant, you must have:
  • Must be 18 years of age and have the education and/or experience to meet the duties of the position
  • Completion of an accredited program
  • 0-2 years of experience as a medical assistant
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail; accuracy
  • Ability to earn BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support, Allina Health within 30 days--Allina Health, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
  • Ability to lift up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently
Preferred requirements:
  • Medical Assistant experience
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants
  • Experience using Medical Terminology

Key duties will include assisting with rooming patients, managing patient flow and accurately obtaining patient medical information/data. The team supports multiple providers, however, in most cases, Medical Assistants are assigned to one provider.
