ABOUT THE JOB

Supplier Quality Data Maintenance:

  • Work with the External Quality Manager to identify supplier priorities for Food Grade materials.
  • Contact suppliers to gather critical quality data in TraceGains.
  • Conduct follow-up phone calls to unresponsive suppliers
  • Work with internal business partners, such as Purchasing and Sales, evaluate supplier contact performance
  • Collaborate with the Quality Data Management team on new product setup
  • Organize supplier data following a systematic process

Supplier Audits:

  • Lead external quality audits based on audit schedule to ensure compliance to Hawkins Quality Expectations
  • Manage supplier corrective action follow-up

Supplier Qualification & Re-evaluation:

  • Document qualification of new suppliers and materials and submit for approval to the External Quality Manager
  • Document re-evaluation of existing suppliers according to Supplier Approval program and submit for approval to the External Quality Manager

Continuous Improvement:

  • Streamline the collection process for gathering supplier data
  • Identify improvements in storing and communicating supplier data
  • Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.

    ABOUT YOU

    • Bachelor Degree in scientific or related discipline.
    • Audit experience preferred
    • Experience in Corrective Action Preventive Action programs preferred
    • Minimum three years' experience managing quality and/or technical documentation.
    • Minimum three-years' experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO, SQF, FAMI-Q5, IPEC, GMP, cGMP, etc.)
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications - Outlook, Word, Excel
    • Problem solving, trouble shooting, time management and organization skills
    • Ability to communicate well with all disciplines and levels at the facility and corporate.
