Job Description
Looking for an opportunity with future advancement potential in a well-established ISO 9001-2000 and AS 9100 certified company? ITW Heartland, a division of Illinois Tool Works located in Alexandria, MN, is a dynamic and growing gear manufacturing and machine tool company seeking a Project Engineer.
Qualified candidates will have proven experience integrating mechanical, electrical and software systems. They will be able to perform systems engineering, interpret customer specifications and ensure those specifications are met, conduct design review sessions with customer, provide accurate cost information for product quotation and provide all technical support to product manufacturing. They will research and develop new technologies and apply engineering theory to problem solving.
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience in the gear cutting industry is helpful and SolidWorks is preferred. Previous management and project leadership experience is also desirable.
