Temperature Controlled Division
J&R Schugel takes pride in the timely transportation of temperature controlled products nationwide. Strategically located terminals at the corporate headquarters in New Ulm, MN, Columbus, OH and Atlanta, GA allow J&R Schugel professionals to provide quality cargo delivery to our most dense business lanes east of the Mississippi River and select California points. Regional fleets based out of Atlanta, GA, Columbus, OH and the Chicago Metro area further support the varied customer expectations. Our focus on quality service, safety sensitive business practices and single contact customer service have insured J&R Schugel’s place as the premier temperature controlled carrier in the United States.

Dry Van Division
The J&R Schugel dry-van division concentrates on providing service to the full truckload, dry freight market. Single contact Customer Service contacts and quality professional drivers ensure the timely transport of customer cargo. Major delivery areas are Minnesota, points east of the Mississippi River, Texas and California.

In 1974, when Jerry and Rich Schugel got together with their father Harold and started J&R Schugel Trucking, they had 15 trucks, 20 trailers and an idea. That idea was to provide their customers with quality service at a fair price and help their employees earn a good living. Today, their sons Rick and Brad run more than 650 tractors, 1050 trailers and still have that same idea.
