An $18 million non-profit organization founded in 1972, Dakota Communities has 32 homes in 7 counties. We also provide in-home services and therapeutic recreation. ANCOR Foundation awarded Dakota Communities the prestigious Community Builder Award in 2006 for our leadership in initiating changes in communities and organizations so that people with disabilities are increasingly valued and included as community members.
